Synonym for a Dream is a visual journey that attempts to reconcile feelings of love, loss, and impermanency. This concept grew out of my continuing exploration of grief after the abrupt death of my dad in 2021, and the moments of joy and pain that co-exist as I search for traces of him in my daily life. It begins with a poem I wrote and is punctuated with fragments of writing from the past 2 years.
